Or found yourself reaching for the same comfort you always do.
And sometimes what returns is beautiful.
The person who always makes you laugh.
The place where your shoulders finally relax.
The music that brings you back to yourself.
The idea that keeps asking to be created.

The practice that somehow always leads you home.
Not everything that repeats is something we need to change.

Sometimes repetition is simply asking us to notice.

So today, when something feels familiar, instead of asking,
“Why do I keep doing this?”
try asking:
“Where have I felt this before?”

And then listen.
No judgment.
No fixing.
No pressure to understand it all today.

Just curiosity.

Because sometimes the first thing a pattern needs from us is simply to be seen.

Not judging what's inside.

Just setting it down long enough to look.

What spilled was simply what the cup was already carrying.

We move through life carrying things too.

Expectations.

Love.

Disappointment.

But the movement continues.

We are much like that drop.

A kind word offered to someone this morning may influence how they speak to their child this evening. That child may enter school tomorrow feeling a little more seen and offer kindness to someone who desperately needs it.

And you may never know.

Perhaps contributing to the world has never required reaching everyone.

Perhaps it begins with noticing what we place into the world immediately around us.

You are already creating ripples.

Today, simply notice them.

DAY 1 · THE STORY

You Are the Ripple

A single drop of water falls into a still pond.

For a moment, it seems insignificant.

One drop.
One tiny movement.

Then the water responds.

A circle forms around the place where the drop landed. Then another. And another.

The ripples travel farther than the drop itself could ever reach.

Eventually, the place where the movement began becomes impossible to distinguish.

But the movement continues.

We are much like that drop.

Every space we enter receives something from us.

Our words carry energy.

Our silence carries energy.

Our attention carries energy.

Our reactions carry energy.

Our kindness carries energy.

🌿 NATURE IS MY HAPPY PLACE… BUT THE BUGS? NOT SO MUCH. 😂🦟

There’s something about being surrounded by trees, fresh air, sunshine, and the sounds of nature that brings me right back to center. Nature preserves are some of my favorite places to walk, breathe, ground, and restore. 🌳

But if you spend enough time outdoors, you already know… the bugs will find you. 😩
